Toning Classes for All Levels

Iyenger & Hatha Yoga is ideal for anyone who wants to increase muscle tone, strength & flexibility. Yoga is ideal for stress relief & relaxation. No experience required.

Pilates is designed to improve posture & lenghten muscles.  Exercises are slow & controlled aiming to work inner muscles and helping to build a human corset with the back & stomach muscles.
 
Fitness Pilates on the Ballas described above but using the stability ball to increase the intensity & add an extra dimension to the class.

Bums & Tumsa light warm up followed by lower body exercises to strengthen & tone your tummy, legs & bottom. An ideal class for those new to exercise.

Ab’s Faba great 30 minute class for those wishing to tighten their tummies. Full of great exercises you can use at home or in your workout.

Bottom’s Up a 30 minute class concentrating on the bum & thigh muscles, a perfect class for a perfect behind!

Fat Burning & Toning Classes for Various Levels

Pump FX  The great weight workout! A fantastic class working with weights to tone the whole body & burn fat.  Work at your own pace, no complex choreography to follow & because the exercises stay the same for 3 months, it doesn't matter if you miss a few weeks, you will always be able to pick back up where you left off.  Suitable for all levels of fitness.
 
Aero-Toneis designed for those who want to work at their own pace. You can choose either high or low impact moves both of which are fun & easy to follow. A great class using weights & bands to work the whole body. Suitable for all levels.
 
Body Blitz begins with an aerobic workout followed by body bar & hand weight exercises for maximum tone & definition. This class is the ideal full body workout. Suitable for intermediate to advanced exercisers only.

Dance Locate your hips & get to grips with a variety of dance styles & rhythms. Every few months, the style of the class will change from jazz & Broadway to hip hop or salsa. Absolutely no dance experience is required, the emphasis is on having fun & building confidence so you can strut your stuff with the best of them! Suitable for all levels of fitness.

Step Classes for Various Levels

Beginners Step Level 1 Learn the basics of step aerobics, from correct technique to basic step patterns. This class is slower in pace than other step classes to enable you to follow moves & commands easily. Suitable for beginners.
 
Beginners to Intermediate Step Level 2 Take your step up to the next level with a little more complexity & a slightly faster pace with this great class
 
Just Do It Level 3 Step combines intermediate to advanced step, barbell work & floor exercises to give great fat burning & muscle toning, all round work out. Suitable for all fitness levels but step experience is required.
 
Step Mix Level 3  is an intermediate to advanced 45 minute step class for those who have mastered beginners step and feel ready for the next level.  This class has step choreography so you get to work your brain as well as your whole body!  A great fat burning & fitness class.  Intermediate to advanced steppers only please.

STOMP FX is a great step class aimed at intermediate steppers. This class is great fun, you will learn short routines that you perform to different tracks of music (like pump fx) so there is choreography to learn but you don't have to remember it as it changes from track to track - give it a go! 

Rules & Guidelines
Please read the description & check the fitness experience level before booking a class, ask a member of staff for advice if you are unsure.
If you have a medical condition, injury or are new to an exercise class you must make yourself known to the instructor before the class begins.
Appropriate clothing & supportive trainers must be worn for most classes. Please check with a member of staff when you pre-book your class.

All Classes must be booked at reception & should you be unable to attend you must cancel with at least 4 hours notice. Classes will only go ahead if there are 3 or more participants.

Rules & Guidelines:
Teen Fit Club and Mother & Daughter Sessions
All teenagers wishing to attend the Teen Fit Club or a mother & daughter session must have an induction with an instructor prior to being able to use the gym.
Weight resistance machines will not be included on the programme.
Use of sauna is prohibited.
A copy of the full rules & guidelines must be signed at reception before your induction.

Children’s Classes & Playgroup:
A rules & guidelines form must be completed with contact details before your child attends their first class.
All classes should be booked at reception.
All playgroup sessions must be pre-booked and child’s age given.
